As the demand for expert medical care soared, Gervacio De Ocampo Memorial Clinic expanded. It moved to a more prominent building in Nagtahan Street, Sta. Mesa, Manila, and quadrupled its capacity to 100 beds. The clinic was then renamed De Ocampo Memorial Medical Center.
While the hospital's roots resided in dentistry, it soon became a center for other specializations. To meet the various medical needs of the community, De Ocampo Hospital started to offer services in psychiatry, pediatrics, cosmetic surgery, and more. De Ocampo Memorial Medical Center also provides quality medical care with ancillary services such as X-ray, electroencephalography (EEG), ultrasound, and 2D echocardiography.
Today, De Ocampo Hospital serves as the training ground for future doctors and nurses studying at De Ocampo Memorial College. The established medical center is a certified Level 1 hospital by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. The recognition means that De Ocampo Memorial Medical Center meets the basic requirements set by the Department of Health to cater to patients who need medical attention.
