Bernardino General Hospital was established in September 1987 as a small maternity clinic. Bernardino General Hospital was initially known as Bernardino Medical Maternity Clinic, which accommodated mostly maternity patients. With its success as a maternity clinic, the group of doctors saw the potential of Bernardino General Hospital and built their first hospital under Bernardino General Hospital Corporation called Bernardino General Hospital 1 in 1994. In 1999, Bernardino General Hospital opened its second hospital, Bernardino General Hospital 2, in Zabarte Road. Housed under the same corporation, both Bernardino General Hospitals provide quality and accessible healthcare services at affordable rates.

From 25 beds, Bernardino General Hospital 2 expanded its facilities and services to cater to more patients. Today, Bernardo General Hospital has a 35-bed capacity and offers services such as 2-D Echocardiography, Video Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Laparoscopy, Computerized Tomography (CT) Scan, and 3-D Ultrasound. Other services available in Bernardino General Hospital 2 include Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Eye, Ear & Nose (ENT), Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Urology, and Neurology. Bernardino General Hospital also offers COVID-19 tests such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests for patients who wish to know their conditions.

Bernardino General Hospital 2 has a sister hospital called Bernardino General Hospital 1 at Quirino Hwy, Novaliches, Quezon City to accommodate patients in the area. The outpatient and hemodialysis departments were also launched for patients and as a training ground for doctors, nurses, midwives, and other healthcare workers. Bernardino General Hospital houses state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to serve both the community and its medical practitioners. Both Bernardino General Hospitals are part of the Philippine Health Association and are accredited by Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC).
